Welcome to Scott C Wood Photography, where storytelling meets creativity. We are a Bentonville-based team specializing in capturing moments that matter through event, portrait, commercial, real estate, and wedding photography.
I’ve always been fascinated by people—their quirks, their emotions, and their stories. Growing up in Dallas, TX, my mom and I would escape the summer heat by spending time at the mall. We’d sit in the food court and people-watch for hours, imagining the conversations between a young couple on their first date or what might have made the guy behind the counter laugh. That curiosity turned into a passion for capturing real, unfiltered moments.
My journey behind the lens began in 1991 when I became a full-time photojournalist for a Florida newspaper. From football games to courtrooms, I learned how to tell stories through my camera, focusing on capturing fleeting moments that speak volumes. This experience shaped my style—a mix of storytelling and documentary photography that seeks to draw you in and leave you wanting more.
Fast forward to today, and alongside my wife and our three kids, I get to do what I love full-time—photographing and filming amazing people and moments across Arkansas.
